- Job Purpose: To provide an integrated and independent employee welfare and employee relationship as well as compliance services to the company. To ensure that employees are being treated fairly in accordance with the Bangladesh Labor Law and Rules. Make sure that the regulations set forth by law are being followed. Ensure that the business objective and welfare services objectives are met within cold chain respect.
Job Description / Responsibility
- Encourage & monitor different committee like Joint production committee, cooperative, welfare committee etc. and oversee their work
- Monitor different facilities like canteen, rest room, day care center, toilet facilities, drinking water etc.
- Support worker for enjoying paid leave and disseminate knowledge about different rules, regulations & any type of leave
- Monitor different aspect of welfare program like social, engagement, health care, opportunities for children educational, labor welfare etc.
- Continuously engage in developing standard of labor, living standard & their welfare and make recommendation
- Develop training program of newly recruited workers, develop education standard, encourage workers to join Technical institute and help management to nominate them for training
- Help management & workers to implement rules & regulations in the organization accordingly
- Communicate with in-house & hospital doctors for better treatment of workers
- Take necessary steps for developing Industrial Relations
- Have a clear discussion between the management and representatives of the employees regarding their wages and employment rules and regulations
- Take immediate action to settle any kind of differences that might arise between the management and employee
- Understand the employee’s opinion and support and help the management and employees to overcome the differences created between them
- To immediately and efficiently settle the matter, if an individual or a group of workers has any issue or disapproval regarding the work and work environment
- Conduct discussion programs for employee and management to prevent any kind of future differences between them
- Ensure that factory is 100% compliant as per the labor law, especially the area look after by HR management.
- Any other assignment given by the management time to time
- At least BA / B.Com /BSS / BBA or Graduate in any discipline
- MBA / PGDM in HR will be added as extra qualification
- At least 2 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
General HR, Factory HR Administration, Legal Compliance/Code of Conduct, Labor Union Management
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experienced and trained related to Labor and Industries
- Well skilled on Labor Law, Industrial Relation and Industrial Dispute
- Well communication skill in English & Bengali
- Excellent in people management
- Computer knowledge in MS Office
- Excellent in Presentation Skill and analytical ability
- Can do attitude, Patience & self-motivated
- Positive thinker, emotional intelligent, innovative thinking
- Can adapt in challenging and changing environment
- Willing to travel
